These gorgeous ladies came to MHRR as owner surrenders in Jan 2018.
These girls are 3-4 years old, haven't been around young children, cats or dogs before but have now been around very gentle/disinterested dogs. They were fighting upon their arrival so they were separated, but may be re-introduced after the hormones calm down after their spay (done 1/31/18). As of now they can be adopted together or separately.
Because of these girls' gorgeous but floofy hair, they need to have either pelleted litter (such as Yesterday's News) or fleece as fluffy paper bedding or wood chips (never recommended!) will stick to their fur like crazy. They require frequent checking for mats, but thankfully get very few as they keep themselves very clean.

All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped (previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear). Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
